*Chapter 6*

"OmG, there is NO way I am going on that thing", Melissa said.
"Oh come on Melissa. It will be fun", Greg said trying to get her to go on the Apollo. The Apollo was a ride that you are strapped into these seats and then put in cages. You then spin around -- upside down, backwards, every possible way you can think of.
"I dunno. It looks kinda scary."
"Come on. Please Melissa. You can sit next to me.", Greg replied with a cute face no one could resist.
"Aww fine but if I die Im holding you responsible."
"HaHa, you'll be fine. Lets go."
The four got on the ride. While they were waiting for the ride to start (the carnival guy had to wait for so many people to be on it b4 he could start), they spotted Madison and Jesse. They called them over and got them to go the ride, too. The ride finally started and all 6 had a bunch of fun. After that, they went to play a few games, and then went home. However, not before they rode the ferris wheel to watch to the fireworks.

  "I had a really fun time tonite, Desiray."
  "I did too, Chris. I hope we can do something like this again sometime."
  "Me too. I'll call you. I promise.", Chris said placing a sweet kiss on Desiray's cheek.
  "You better! Good night Chris."
  "Good night."

Desiray was staying over Melissa's house that night. The two girls were so happy and had so much energy they couldn't go to sleep. They had some music blasting and were just having a good time.
"I had so much fun tonite, Des.", Melissa said.
"Me too! Chris is so perfect!"

"Greg is too! We definately have to do that again sometime."
"Yes we do."
"Hey it looks like we'll have valentines for Valentine's Day this year." Valentine's day was coming up in two weeks.
"Yea! =)"
"Ah, this is too good."

2 weeks later. February 14th, 2002

Desiray had just gotten home from play practice after school. Her parents weren't home yet and neither was her brother. She walked in the house to find a dozen red roses on her kitchen table. She figured her dad had gotten them for her mom. She went to go look and smell them and she found an envelope on them saying:
"Desiray"

"Huh?" She thought out loud. "Who would get me these?"

She opened the card and it said:

Desiray,
  What do we say we make it official?
  Will you be my girlfriend?
   Love,
    Chris
She couldn't believe it! Chris had asked her out and sent her a dozen roses! She brought the flowers to her room and called Chris as soon as she got up there.

*Ring, ring ring*
  "Hello?", Melissa answered her phone.
  "Hey Meliss -- Its Greg."
  "Hey!!"
  "Happy Valentine's Day!"
  "Thank you. You too!"
  "I got you something."
  "Really?"
  "Yup. Its outside on your porch. Go check it out."
  "Okay.", Melissa walked outside to find a big box on her porch. "Oh my gosh thats a big box!"
  "Take the cover off!"
Melissa went over to the box a little afraid to open it. She took the cover off and out popped Greg. He had a single pink rose and a little box in his hand. Melissa could not believe her eyes.
  "Happy Valentine's Day Melissa". Greg said giving her the box and rose.
  "Oh my gosh."
  "Come on. Open it."
Ali opened the box to find a braclet with her intials engraved on the charm. She couldn't believe it. She gave Greg a big hug and kiss.
  "Now tomorrow night, I'm going to take you out to dinner for your birthday, okay?", Greg said.
  "Yes sir!", Melissa replied still smiling.

Jesse was on his way to Madison's house to give her, her present. He had gotten her a beautiful diamond braclet. She didn't know he was coming so she was quite surprised when he showed up.

Kim was getting ready for her date with Frankie. She was just finishing up when Frankie arrived. She said good bye to her parents and ran to Frankie's car.
"Ready to go roller skating, Kim?"

Matt was putting some cologne on while he was singing to himself in the bathroom. When he was ready, he went to Missy's house to pick her up. The two were going out to dinner. Matt arrived at Missy's house and went to the door to get her. Her mom called her down and she came running down giving Matt a huge hug.
"Phew, enough cologne there hunnie?"
"I wanted to smell good for you", Matt said while blushing.
Missy just giggled and they were on their way.
