*Chapter 1*
*Ring, Ring, Ring* "RRR", Melissa said as she got up to answer the phone. "I swear if this phone doesn't stop ringing I'm gonna -- Hello?"
"Hello Dear. Will you call Mrs. Trousdale for me and see if she can pick up Mike at camp for me? I'm running really late and still have to stop at the store on the way home."
"Yeah, sure Mom."
"Ok thanks. I won't be home until around 5 so be good and I love you bye."
"Bye", Melissa said while she hung up the phone and started to dial the Trousdale's number. She knew it by heart considering her mom and Mrs. Trousdale had been friends since Melissa and Chris were born.
"Hello", a familiar voice answered.
"CHRIS?!?"
"MELISSA?!?"
"Yes omg HI!! When did u get home?"
"Just an hour ago, actually."
"And of course forget all about you best friend. *sigh* I know how it is. Don't bother even to call to say hi'', Melissa said sarcastically.
"Haha, I'm sorry. I've been busy."
"Its alright..I'll remember that next time"
"Haha funny. Anyways, why did you call cause I know it wasn't to see if I was home."
"How do you know? HeHe. I'm just kidding. My mom wanted to know if your mom could pick up Mike from camp?"
"Oh okay, let me ask her." Mommmm, she heard him call. CAN YOU PICK UP MIKE FROM CAMP FOR MRS. MACPHERSON? Melissa just shoke her head. *Hes so lazy*, she thought.
"Yah, she can."
"Alright, tell her thanks. I gotta go. Call me sometime soon so we can get together, I've havent seen you in like forever!"
He laughed. "Ok, I will. See ya"
"Bye!"

"I'M HOME!!", she heard her 11 year old brother call.
"OKay, I'm upstairs if you need me."
A few seconds later there was a knock at here door. Ugh, she thought.
"Come in!", Melissa said in a sweet voice keeping her eyes on her computer screen while putting up an away message.
"Well, hello there," that familiar voice said.
Melissa spun around in her chair. "CHRIS!!!!!", she screamed running over to give him a big hug!
"Hey how are ya? Long time no see", he said while returning the hug.
"Yah, no kidding! I missed ya! I've been good I guess. How was the tour?"
"Awesome! It was so much fun."
"That's good.", Melissa said while returning to her computer chair. She pressed the *I'm Back* button on her away message and continued talking to Chris while typing to her other friends.
"So what are ya up to? ANything exciting?", he said while going to lie down on her bed.
"Not really. I have a pretty boring life."
They talked for a little while longer until Chris noticed the picture next to her nightstand.
"Who's that?", he asked curiously. " Don't tell me you got a boyfriend while I was gone.
"No I wish he was. Its a kid I met well SAW on vacation. Hottest kid alive.", she said in a sad voice.
"Excuse me? I thought I was the hottest kid alive.", he said with pride.
"HaHaHaHaHa! You wish!"
"Alright, well I gotta get going Greg's coming over.", he said while getting up to leave.
"Greg? Whose Greg"
"Friend from Dream Street."
"OoOoO. Alright then I'll talk to you later. Buh bye!"
"C - ya!"

Later that night...
It was about 10:30 and Melissa was online talking to her friends - bored outa her mind as usual. It was about 10:45 when Chris came on.
"Finally", she thought out loud.

CTDS14U: Nice to finally meet you - I've heard alot about you
DreamingOfYou247: :) so whats up?
CTDS14U: Nothing much - just finished watching the movie
DreamingOfYou247: Man, thats the best movie!
CTDS14U: Ya its pretty cool! :)
CTDS14U: Okay, Chris is back in the house!
DreamingOfYou247: You mean back on the computer? lol
CTDS14U: No, I had to take out the trash
DreamingOfYou247: ...rite...lol
DreamingOfYou247: Alright guys I gotta go! Chris you can call me tomorrow if you want. Nice kinda meeting you Greg lol ttyl lyl buh byez
